Our staff Selected publications Русская версия

The Department of Pathology of Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital (RCCH) is a place of clinical and pathology practice, research, and continuing education. We have modern equipment and highly qualified staff in order to perform all routine morphological procedures: histology (H&E), histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. RCCH has over 1,000 beds and a lot of departments such as hematological, oncological, gynecological, endocrinological and a department for bone marrow and kidney transplantation, among others. We have more than 3,000 different cases per year. The range of histologic material is very broad.

Our prioritized areas of interests are:

  • Liver pathology including tumors, developmental abnormalities, inflammatory and metabolic disorders
  • Gastrointestinal pathology in children and adolescents
  • Genitourinary pathology in children and adolescents
  • Nephropathology (glomerulopathies, tubulopathies, etc.)
  • Vascular malformations and tumors
  • Dermatopathology (tumors, nevi, autoimmune conditions)
  • Adrenal pathology
  • Lymphomas
